The Laurel Crown American Home Company is a homebuilder with a purpose. In 2023, we took a chance on a mess of a property in Pomeroy. While many would have seen the state of the lot and some of the neighboring lots and assumed it wasn't worth the hassle; we had a vision. After gaining valuable experience building our own home, we are now devoting ourselves to helping other families make the move as well. We speciallize in transforming empty lots and dilapidated homes into new, energy efficient homes built in the original styles that populated the neighborhoods. We understand that a home is a lofty purchase, and we use our experience in Mechanical and Process Engineering to ensure that our homes are built efficiently so that they are affordable for those who want to work with us on our mission to revitalize our small-town communities.

In April of 2023, we found ourselves on the steps of the Meigs County Courthouse for a tax sale. We were there for the first two properties, but after losing out on those and seeing no one bidding on the final property, we decided to take a chance. We didn't know what we were buying, but this is what awaited us. While others seemingly only saw problems, we realized the massive opportunity that had been gifted to us and decided to do something productive with it.
